Volunteers

The volunteers are, without a doubt, the reason for the success and growth of Interplast.  They generously donate their time to provide reconstructive surgery to people in the developing countries and teach, train, mentor, facilitate, and care for all of those with whom they come in contact.

Interplast has an enviable reputation of high levels of industry support with nearly two thirds of the plastic and reconstructive surgeons from Australia and New Zealand having volunteered for at least one program and some donate their time to many programs.  There are also many more who would like to go on programs but are unable due to lack of program funding.

All Interplast volunteers are fully qualified in their field of expertise and highly motivated to participate in Interplast teams.
