Rotary Clubs and Districts
Interplast Australia & New Zealand is supported by Rotary Clubs and Districts throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2008 /09 Interplast has a District Chair in every Rotary District in Australia & New Zealand. Over the 25 years Rotarians have been involved with Interplast they have raised over $3.2 million dollars to support Interplast medical volunteers, and many have also volunteered to be on Committees and the Board of Directors.
Forty four Rotarians have accompanied teams as Observers and have returned to their Districts as worthy ambassadors of Interplast. These Rotarians are ready and willing to speak to Rotary Clubs of their experiences.
Interplast has its own Rotarians Committee to deal with the ongoing support of the District Chairs, Clubs and also advise the Executive and Board of Interplast on matters of protocol.
INTERPLAST SPEAKERS
If you would like an Interplast speaker for your Club or event please contact either your Interplast District Chair or the Interplast office on 03 9249 1231 or by email at interplast@surgeons.org. Interplast speakers have been on an Interplast programs either as a surgeon, anaesthetis, nurse, or Rotarian Observer and can speak from first hand experience of the repairing bodies and rebuilding lives done by Interplast volunteers.
